Settling In Foster Home Update

Desmond has settled in nicely. He tolerated his bath on his first night here, and he is getting along well with our 3 other setters. I would estimate that he is around 3 to 4 years old, but that is only a guess based on his teeth and his playfulness. We have gone for several walks and he is good on a leash, seldom pulling. He has not shown any food aggression. He is a real sweetie.

This boy is the poster child for male setter. Sweet, laid back, don't want any trouble. Tail wagging if you even look at him. He is a gem. The boy is known as #743 and he was pretty close to being euthanized. His owner moved and left him in the house with no food or water. The lady at the shelter says he is the nicest dog she has ever met.
